Hi, my name is Lauren Roth! I am a current Education and Cantorial Student at Hebrew Union College- Jewish Institute of Religion and I will be receiving my Master of Educational Leadership in May 2023, my Master of Sacred Music in May 2024, and I will be ordained as a cantor in May 2025. I always had a love for both music and education and when it came down to deciding which program I would be a part of, I decided to do both! 

 

As a person with learning differences, I always found learning to chant Torah to be incredibly daunting. As I began tutoring students for their B Mitzvah, I noticed that many of them shared similar struggles as me so, I began developing tools to help. Throughout this website, I have different resources I developed which are meant to help students of all ages and abilities learn how to chant Torah and prepare for their own B Mitzvah.
